Bridging Santa Barbara to Kauaʻi: Join Us for an Afternoon of Aloha and Giving at 28vic

For nearly six decades, the heartbeat of Hula Anyone has echoed across the American Riviera, weaving the rich, sacred traditions of Polynesian dance into the fabric of Santa Barbara. This summer, we are preparing for our most ambitious cultural mission yet—and we are inviting you to be the wind beneath our wings.

Mark your calendars for a spectacular afternoon of community, culture, and philanthropy. We are hosting an exclusive Benefit & Silent Auction to support our historic journey across the Pacific.

The Cause: The "Bridge to Kauaʻi" Project

Every dollar raised during this event goes directly toward funding our Bridge to Kauaʻi Project.

To celebrate our Diamond Jubilee, Hula Anyone has received a rare and prestigious invitation to perform at the 38th Annual Eō e ʻEmalani i Alakaʻi Festival in Kōkeʻe, Kauaʻi this November. We aren't just sending a few select performers; we are bringing a multi-generational troupe—from our youngest keiki (youth) to our honored kupuna (elders)—to represent the entire 805 area code in the misty highlands of the Alakaʻi wilderness.

Since 1968, Hula Anyone has operated under a sacred rule: never turn a student away due to financial hardship. Hula is an oral tradition that must be experienced firsthand. Your support of the Bridge to Kauaʻi Scholarship Fund ensures that every single dancer, regardless of economic background, can break through financial barriers, train with master kumu (teachers) on the islands, and return home to pass that ancestral knowledge down to the next generation.
