This ancient oli celebrates the alignment of the human spirit, the natural world, and the ancestral realms. It is traditionally chanted to invoke peace, unity, and a shared heartbeat before a major gathering or performance.

“He ao lōkahi, he ao mālama,

He piko lōkahi i ke kuahiwi.

ʻO Hālālī ka makani e pā mai nei,

E hōʻuluʻulu i ka manaʻo e,

E lōkahi, e lōkahi nō!”

It is a cloud of unity, a cloud of light and care. It is a central point of harmony upon the mountain peak. It is the Hālālī wind that gently blows hither. Gathering the thoughts and intentions together. Let there be unity, let there be absolute harmony!
