Hula Anyone at the Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Parade, 2007

We are so excited to announce that Hula Anyone will return to the Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Parade for the first time since 2012!

Hula Anyone has a history of bringing dynamic Hula and Tahitian dance performances to the Solstice Parade, with past themes ranging from nature’s wilderness to our constellations. This year we will partner with the Brazilian Cultural Arts Association of Santa Barbara for a performance fusing our styles and cultures.

“This is a very different format for us from our past Solstice performances,” says Angelita Eller. “But it is going to be a wonderful challenge and SO much fun.”

The Santa Barbara Summer Solstice parade will be on Saturday, June 22nd at 12pm and participation with Hula Anyone is open to all ages, genders and experience levels. Practices will be held on Thursday evenings from 6-7:30pm at The Dance Hub in Santa Barbara. Extra rehearsals will be called as the parade date nears.

Please contact us for more information about joining us for our return to the Solstice Parade!
